git bisect

  commit 7a799f6
  Author: David Golden <dagolden@cpan.org>
  Date: Thu Sep 22 13:33:06 2011 -0400

base.pm no longer tracks loaded modules

Since bisect in this area is not fully functioning, I took the approach
to downgrade base.pm to RGARCIA/base-2.15.tar.gz. This brings us a pass
on EXODIST/Class-Entangle-0.06.tar.gz with perls after
v5.15.3-26-g7a799f6

From @exodist

Oh.. That's still on CPAN? I pity anyone that uses that old thing.....
A lack of terminology knowledge on my part led me to solve an already
solved problem before I was qualified to make such a beast. I will be
removing this from CPAN shortly as nobody should be using it.

I have no comment on the new base.pm behavior, and I would assume
anything in Class::Entangle that breaks does so because
Class::Entangle is garbage. I have not looked at the code in years.

Just as an aside, this is a _test_ failure, not a failure in the module
actually being tested. Class::Entangle doesn't use base.pm at all, but
its test does.

I’m marking this as rejected, since the CPAN distribution is effectively
abandoned.
