Migrated from rt.perl.org#1371 (status was 'resolved')

Searchable as RT1371$

From The RT System itself

if you say

  perldoc -t page|module|program

the output will be paged but this is not the case
with the switches "-f" and "-q":

  perldoc -t -f function

will be NOT paged.
(As I understand.)

Is this different behaviour intended?

Unfortunately for Windows the option "-t"
is automatically set, so the information is not
paged with queries for functions (-f) and
queries for FAQs (-q), which raises periodically
threads on the
"Perl-Win32-Users Mailing List".

_If_ it were ok that perldoc would always page
with the "-t"-switch, this could be fixed.

Regards
Roland
