On recent versions of FreeBSD 4.0-CURRENT (it's a moving target!)
standard C library is stripped by default. This makes the current
default of usenm=true inappropriate. The easiest workaround is
presented in the patch below (and the build information at the end of
this message corresponds to the build after applying this patch; the
usual test 190 in pragma/warning still fails, as expected)​:
