=pod has no effect #1465
Comments
From @nkhrakudo commit: db84bc06990c37b93fe987dcffab4ed9bf31de92 =pod say A ; # A is run |
From @bbkrOn Kiev build there is now warning about using deprecated POD syntax. # perl6 -e 'eval "=pod\nsay 666;\n=cut"; say $!' However bare '=pod' still makes code executable # perl6 -e 'eval "=pod\nsay 666;"; say $!' So not fixed yet. |
The RT System itself - Status changed from 'new' to 'open' |

The problem seems to be limited to =pod in eval; $ cat foo -- |
From @bbkr2012.10 - still broken $ perl6 -e 'eval "=pod\nsay 666;"' |

Looks ok now: $ perl6 -e 'EVAL "=pod\nsay 666;"' Just needs tests |
From @hoelzroFixed, and tests added to roast. |
@hoelzro - Status changed from 'open' to 'resolved' |
Migrated from rt.perl.org#71812 (status was 'resolved')
