From Christophe.ALBUGUES@3ds.com

Hello,

  I am using mks toolkit under windows XP. And I get this :D

C:\DOCUME1\ckc\Desktop\PERL-51.TAR\PERL-5~1.1>bash

$ ./Configure -des -Dprefix=$HOME/localperl

(I see you are using the Korn shell. Some ksh's blow up on Configure,

mainly on older exotic systems. If yours does, try the Bourne shell
instead.)

Configure: Fatal Error: I can't find a Bourne Shell anywhere.

Usually it's in /bin/sh. How did you even get this far?

Please contact me (Perl Maintainers) at perlbug@perl.org and

we'll try to straighten this all out.

$ exit

I am not sure it will be of any help for you. But since it's written, I
mail you J

Have a nice day

Christophe

G'day Christophe,

Thank you for submitting this bug, it certainly is an odd one. While we
look into this you may find it useful to install Perl from the
Strawberry Perl distribution http://strawberryperl.com/ it's not the
same as compiling your own, but hopefully will give you a chance to get
up and started.

Thanks again,

  Jacinta
