From erik@cs.uni-jena.de

Created by erik@cs.uni-jena.de

In perlfaq8 ("How can I capture STDERR from an external command?")
are some lines with "IO::File->new_tempfile":

  local *CATCHOUT = IO::File->new_tempfile;
  local *CATCHERR = IO::File->new_tempfile;

The correct command is

  local *CATCHOUT = IO::File->new_tmpfile;

("tmp" instead of "temp")

From @rgs

The correct command is

local *CATCHOUT = IO::File->new_tmpfile;

That's right, thanks; I fixed that as change #26802 in the development
tree of perl.
