$ perl -MO=Deparse -e 'sub { -"foo" => 1 }'
sub {
  '-foo', 1;
}
;
-e syntax OK

$ perl -MO=Deparse -e 'sub { -foo => 1 }'
sub {
  -'foo', 1;
}
;
-e syntax OK

As you can see, -"foo" gets constant folded to "-foo". But unary minus on a
bareword (autoquoted) is delayed until runtime (at least according to
B::Deparse).

Shouldn't they work the same?

This was patched in 2e6807b.
