From @andkAnother one from Slaven: bisect commit cb9052a overload.pm: Add string-specific bitops sample fail report http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report/3c187604-eb50-11e4-9a9e-edb7e0bfc7aa rt.cpan ticket https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=103963 perl -V Summary of my perl5 (revision 5 version 21 subversion 9) configuration: Characteristics of this binary (from libperl): -- |
From @rjbsThis distribution creates, at configure time, a .pm file with definitions for all possible overload operations. It has no mechanism to notice that some operators are experimental, so it tries to defined &. in terms of &., which is a syntax error. I've submitted a patch to use experimental.pm to define the overload on perls with it. -- |
The RT System itself - Status changed from 'new' to 'open' |
From @rjbsAdded to Known Problems and closing this. Also noted that overloaded ops list may grow over time. -- |
@rjbs - Status changed from 'open' to 'resolved' |
Migrated from rt.perl.org#124416 (status was 'resolved')
Searchable as RT124416$
