This is a bug report for perl from gabriel.withington@gmail.com,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.40 running under perl 5.22.1.

Two integers ($a and $b) passed to a subroutine and then with the operation $a % $b performed on them produces the following error:

Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at /usr/share/perl/5.22/Math/BigInt/Calc.pm line 1359.

I've attached a script which demonstrates the problem, it is fixed by adding an int() cast to lines 173 and 174.

Gabriel

P.S. The script might be of interest generally. It takes a semiprime and an encryption exponent, the two components of an RSA public key, and calculates an exponent which can be used to decrypt data for that key (well, for the cipher text used). It's an interesting approach which skips semiprimes and looks like the lower limit of time as a function of key length may be linear. It's all very exciting and so far my efforts have been pooh-pooh-ed by Bruce Schneier and Niels Ferguson.
