Subject: [BUG] Incorrect File Creation/Stat Tests on Windows with files with invalid characters
Download (untitled) / with headers
text/plain 513b
I saw this mentioned on IRC here: http://irclog.perlgeek.de/perl6/2016-01-06#i_11839721 but I don't see a bug report for it. Creation of a file with invalid character still succeeds, but uses a different filename. Furthermore, doing stat tests, like .e, succeeds still because (presumably) the incorrect filename is abridged once again. Here's the sample code. See the aforementioned IRC log for more details perl6 -e "'foo:bar'.IO.spurt('test')" # empty file "foo" created perl6 -e "'foo:bar'.IO.e.say" # True
