Commit 4fa0b80 to perl5.git merged in the postderef branch, allowing Perl 5.20.0 to experimentally support: $x->[y]{z}->$*->w->@* ...instead of... @{ ${ $x->[y]{z} }->w } Acceptance criteria for this feature in a future perl release are, at a minimum: * no horrible known bugs * no major known inequalities between the two forms -- rjbs
