Segfault for a signature match with a native type and an 'as' cast in Rakudo #3173
Comments
From @masak<jnthn> r: say \(1) ~~ :(int $x as Str) |
From @usev6This no longer segfaults but gives False (on Moar, Parrot and JVM): $ perl6 -e 'say \(1) ~~ :(int $x as Str)' Is that smart match supposed to return True? (For the tests it would be nice to check for the correct result and not only whether it lives_ok.) |

From @masakResolving this ticket because Rakudo no longer segfaults. See [perl #122990] for the unexpected behavior it revealed underneath. |

From @usev6I added a test to S03-smartmatch/capture-signature.t with the following commit: Raku/roast@d55c943637 |
Migrated from rt.perl.org#118581 (status was 'resolved')
