This is a bug report for perl from lvirden@cas.org,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.29 running under perl v5.6.0.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
When running a make test after patching perl 5.6.0 with the latest rsync
of patches, I am finding the following behavior:
.
.
comp/require.........FAILED at test 23
.
.
Failed 1 test script out of 244, 99.59% okay.
  ### Since not all tests were successful, you may want to run some
  ### of them individually and examine any diagnostic messages they
  ### produce. See the INSTALL document's section on "make test".
  ### If you are testing the compiler, then ignore this message
  ### and run
  ### ./perl harness
  ### in the directory ./t.
  ###
  ### Since most tests were successful, you have a good chance to
  ### get information with better granularity by running
  ### ./perl harness
  ### in directory ./t.
u=2.63 s=0.79 cu=161.38 cs=36.25 scripts=244 tests=12453
make: *** [test] Error 1

Now, I do
$ ./perl t/comp/require.t
1..23
ok 1
ok 2
ok 3
ok 4
ok 5
ok 6
ok 7
ok 8
ok 9
ok 10

ok 13
ok 14
ok 15
ok 16
ok 17
ok 18
ok 19
ok 20
ok 21
ok 22

When I cd to t and do the ./perl harness I get the same thing as the
make test.

P.S. in t/README, the last of the file says to mail new tests to
larry@wall.org; shouldn't the new tests be going to the same place bug and
enhancement requests go?
