Hello, my name is Peter Misciagna and I recently installed Perl on
my Windows 95 system. Since I've installed it my Microsoft word
applications crash when I try to fetch a file via standard "file open".
When I select "File Open" it works fine until I try to change
directories by the pull down window. This seems to occur with all
Microsoft office applications and is okay with applications like
Notepad. The details of my crash are pasted
below. Have you encountered this problem with windows 95 before? If so
do you have any suggestions on how to handle it? Any advice would be
greatly appriciated. Thank you.

Regarding the perl bug e-mail that I submitted yesterday, I was
thinking that perl may use a dynamic link library with the name
KERNEL32.DLL that Microsoft office also uses. If by installing perl it
created another KERNEL32.DLL file and changed my path then Microsoft
office may be referencing it, hence it crashes due to referencing the
wrong DLL. Does this make sense? I've already tried reinstalling
Microsoft Office.
If I wanted to uninstall perl from my system how would I go about
doing this? Is there an uninstall routine available? Please let me know.
Thank you for your time.
