I am trying to install perl on Solaris 2.5 , the first step
sh Configure went ok, but the second step " make"
had a fatal error, the error code is #2 "make:Faltal
error: Command failed for target 'miniperlmain.o'
Can you help me with this error.
Not without more information.
Your problem may already be covered by the INSTALL file - most common
problems are.
Please run the 'myconfig' script and send its output.
Also we need at least a line or two before the 'Command failed for target'
message which will have the C compilers explanation of the error.
If possible copy/paste the actual transcript or proof read your re-typing
carefully - 'Faltal' is not what it printed - it does not matter in that
case but it might in the interesting error message.
