From Mike.Unruh@herten.com

I'm writing a script which should grep some router configurations and
process them later.
After assigning a router name and collecting some other informations
I try to write it to a file and to the screen for debugging.
There are for the some name different values. For 192.121.159.242 I
get in the beginning the right string but later is the first 1 missing
and
changing back to full name and so on. Could there be a memory
allocation issue? How can I really debug what is going wrong?

I had similar problems with a hash where I put several levels like
$router{$rname}{$interface}{$descriptio}{$use}. If I used only a few
configurations
it was working but if I took >30 than it was not consistent.

If you need the script and the file it process please let me know.

Regards,

Mike

From @iabyn

Its a vague bug report, its old, and it hasn't been followed up, so I
think it can die...
