From The RT System itself

Getting at Perl 0 would be a neat trick.

Sorry, couldn't dig anything up on Perl 3.

Between Perl 4 and Perl 5, I've got an interesting intermediate
directory called refperl, which appears to be a backup snapshot of
*.[ch] on 1993-Jul-01. Some of the files have an RCS version number of
4.1, given back in August of 1992. Unfortunately, for most of the
development in this period, I think I kept files under ClearCase, in a
repository that is no longer available.

I have a directory called 5.001final, which was last compiled on Nov 15.
It seems to be somewhere between 5.001n and 5.002beta1. The directory
contains patch files patch0[a-k] and patch1[a-m]. Apparently this is
the directory I was doing parallel development in, and renamed it "final"
when I abandoned the directory for beta1.

: 5.002beta1 1995-Nov-21

I seem to have a directory of 5.002beta1 that was compiled 1995-Nov-20,
despite the fact that here it says Andy released it the next day. Maybe
he released it at 1:00 AM and I compiled it at 11:00 the previous night
several timezones removed. Didn't bother to decode the timestamps
to that level of accuracy though.

I have a tar of b2.

I have a tar of b3.

I also have a directory on Feb 8 called 5.002beta3final.

: Andy 5.002gamma 1996-Feb-11

I have a tar of gamma.

Nothing after that.
