if you type "if (0 > 2) {" then press CR, you get the following error message:
Unable to parse blockoid, couldn't find final '}' at line 3
Other interpreters would display a pipe instead.

Current Rakudo now supports this too:
moritz@pat:~/p6/rakudo$ ./perl6-m You may want to `panda install Readline` or `panda install Linenoise` or use rlwrap for a line editor
To exit type 'exit' or '^D'
if (0 > 2) { * say 42; * } () if True { * say 'really!'; * } really!
