If file sizes are of a type bigger than perl's IV (which is not the case
in the perl -V below; I don't have a 32-bit system any more), then stat()
and the -s file test operator cast the size to NV, rounding sufficiently
large file sizes. We recently fixed the same problem for inode numbers
in [perl #126414], and we should fix the problem for file sizes in the
same manner. That is, a file size that doesn't fit into IV should be
returned as a string of decimal digits, which postpones the NV rounding
and permits the full value to be extracted by sufficiently aware code.
