The documentation for study notes that it has been a no-op since perl 5.16.
But it then goes on to describe how it works, which makes no sense,
and to give an example of how to use it.

Please reword it to say simply 'in earlier Perl versions this analysed
the scalar to make subsequent regexp matches faster, but in perl 5.16
and later it has no effect'.
